All of our workshop prices are consolidated to this page and is an easy to view overview of our costs. We are committed to be transparent and up front about costs.
Different equipment types are charged at different rates as they are based on complexity and skillset required to repair each item. We would never recommend comparing a company simply on a price per hour rate, what we may be able to complete in one hour, may take 2 with another repairer.
Minimum 1 hour bench fee
The below table indicates the minimum cost applicable for each kind of repair and is payable regardless of the working outcome of the repair, for example if we deem the repair to have caused too much damage internally, or if a repair exceeds current value we would still charge for this time.
We may quote slightly different rates depending on faults, makes and models, but this is on a case by case situation.
The 1 hour bench fee covers up to an hour of us processing your equipment, this can be made up in any of the following ways:
- Inspecting to find the fault,
- Identifying and researching replacement parts required to replace,
- Ordering parts,
- Time taken with manufacturer.
in 95% of cases repairs can be carried out in the 1 hour time frame, further time is calculated per the below framework.
Extra time past the 1 hour
Where a repair exceeds the 1 hour bench fee we would continue to charge on a pro rata rate of the 1 hour bench fee in segments of 15 minutes.
For example if the hour rate is £100 and we take an hour and half to repair, the cost would be made up as follows – 1 hour bench fee £100 plus 2x 15 minute blocks. (15 minutes pro rata of 1 hour at £100 is £25) which is £50 thus the total for time would be £150
