Sickamps is mainly a stage electronics repairer. We are kept really busy with guitar amplifiers, pianos and stage related audio electronics. Being a warranty centre for many brands we have offer great support for the brands who support us.
We make no claim to being able to repair everything. There are plenty of companies who say they repair everything and say yes to all, but actually do they offer a quality repair like we do?
We have a worldwide reputation for repairs and that is because we’re experts at the specific repairs. We say no to some repairs as we either know it’s not a strong point for us, or we know manufacture support is poor or parts hard to obtain.
Items we do not repair include:
-Hi Fi equipment, of any kind, regardless of how “vintage” it is.
– 5.1 Surround systems
– White goods of any kind
-Car audio i.e. subs, amplifiers
-Phones, laptops, PCs
– Generally anything less than £100 to replace with 2nd hand or new.
Brands we do not work on include Bose, Skytec, Prosound, Gear 4 Music, any Amazon own brand or anything unbranded.
We have taken the effort to find some local HI FI repair companies who you can try at your own risk to repair your equipment. They can be found in our Local community section.
If we receive an enquiry for any product mentioned on this site, we will simply delete it as it wastes our time reading it, and will have wasted your time having read this and still making an enquiry.
