As an official Mesa warranty centre we have access to current production and historic service manuals including service bulletins and recommended factory updates.
The Mesa / Boogie TransAtlantic TA-30 is a great little head, with it’s clean simple design and dual channel, dual power. There have been some minor issues with the FX loop and reverb being noisy.
Other issues include excess humming on reverb affecting the head version more than combo, and also buzzing and intermittent sound loss when changing powers from 40 to 15W.
As an authorised service centre we can correct and mod your Mesa amp using factory bulletins to original manufacturer quality and standard. If you are close to Harlow in Essex, or London we can carry out this mod quickly with noticeable improvement.

Please note: We are signed up to disclosure agreements preventing us from distributing the manufacturer information, schematics or service bulletins. No matter how much you tell us your mate is good at soldering, we simply ignore the request. There is already far too much incorrect information on forums and poor repairs by keyboard warriors. This article was written to correct people in search of a solution to a noisy TA30 amplifier.
