Most if not all electronic pianos have moving elements that will wear out over time. Rubbers and felts loose their shape, keys break and hinges and weights can damage. You need somebody who can get original parts and access to service manuals and drawings to ensure your repair is carried out professionally.
Most manufacturers offer support for spares and parts up to around 10 years old. There are exceptions to some of the 'flagship' models however it's a general rule of thumb that because of the many hundreds of unique plastic parts in a piano it would be uneconomical for a manufacture to hold every part forever, often with parts not interchangeable with other models!
We are an authorised service agent for Yamaha electric pianos, with full access to spare parts and are able to log into their e-train system to see stock as well as access to all service manuals, schematics and service updates.
Spare parts such as replacement knobs, power supplies, keys, membrane switches can all be ordered from us direct.
We repair many korg synths and pianos, though not officially a service centre we deal direct with korg spares and have a wide access to parts, schematics and service bulletins.
Again we are not an official service centre though are recognised by Roland as repairers and are registered on their system for parts ordering and service manual requests meaning we're able to repair a wide range of their products using original parts to their standards.
