WORKSHOP CLOSURE - JULY 2018
** Our workshop will be closed until Monday 23rd July - This is due to us attending exhibitions. Please continue to raise tickets and appointments outside this time, we will reply when we get a chance during this time.**

Traynor amps started out in 1963 designed by Peter Traynor, like many of the amplifier histories he used to work as a repairman in a music shop who customised amplifiers!  Interestingly his first amp wasn't a guitar amplifier but a bass amplifier, followed by a PA speaker.  Guitar amplifiers featured a few years later!

We have had a few broken Traynor amplifiers in for repair, however not serious many of the wear and tear faults are below.

Fixing crackly pots

Replacing capacitors causing hum

repairing intermittent problems with amp breaking down

Re valving and biasing

Repairing broken amplifier IC's

If your amplifier has any of these issues we will be happy to repair it at our fully equipped workshop.
